Installs easily on Mac and Windows. Most Linux distributions have Firefox packaged in them as the default browser.
KompoZer

KompoZer is similar to Dreamweaver or FrontPage, allowing you to manage and create websites. KompoZer allows WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editing of pages; making Web creation as easy as typing with your word processor. It also has lots of nice tools that allow you to maintain entire websites both on and off line.
KompoZer is not resource intensive and will work on computers that are up to 4-5 years old.

Wordpress makes publishing and maintaining a website quite easy and it is also great for distributing podcasts and video. You can easily add pages through a simple form and quickly update content. WordPress is one of the most popular blogging tools in the world. To use Wordpress you can either signup for an account at wordpress.com or for full control and more features you can install it on your own server.
